Arranging Instructions
Should I Arrange My Own Wedding Flowers?
Now that it's 2018 and brides-to-be are getting serious about their upcoming weddings, tough decisions need to be made. Flowers, which initially seemed minor on the wedding to-do list, immediately became more complicated when quotes come piling in from local florists. Let's face it, flowers are expensive but what other options are there? Is the dream wedding complete with fake flowers? For most, in my experience, the answer to that question is no. Real flowers are the way to go especially since Kukka has made it incredibly easy to do your own arrangements.
By using Kukka, you can pick out a wedding flower package or create a custom package. If you select a wedding package, most of the work is done. Simply purchase, have the flowers arrive, and arrange for 2-3 hours according to the instructions. For a custom package, it becomes a little bit more tedious nailing down the exact flowers you want, but a good starting point is finding inspirational photos and emailing it to Kukka. Kukka can either recreate the exact arrangement or they can work with you to nail down flowers you like at a price you like. Then, once you decide what flowers to use, the process is the same. You receive the stems and arrange according to the instructions. 2-3 hours of work for $2,000 in savings? I definitely value my time, but not always by that much. I say arrange your own wedding flowers, save the money, be proud of your creations, and tell the florist "no thanks, I got this."
